Higher Grounds Coaching was founded in 2024 by Nick Hopkins.
Nick's passion for coaching grew in his role as an internal coach in a corporate environment. A feature of those sessions was to serve clients a freshly ground pour over coffee, a symbol of creating a safe and supportive environment and the value of servant leadership.
The essence of those coaching sessions is captured in the name and continues in the way Nick partners with clients on a journey to higher grounds - a place where clients can see their situation from a new vantage point and gain clarity on a path towards personal growth and transformation.
Nick has worked with many excellent leaders in both the UK and US, having worked in senior leadership positions in the pharmaceutical industry for over 28 years. He has an extensive scientific background, having completed postgraduate and postdoctoral studies, and has held leadership positions in IT, HR, Portfolio & Business Operations,
